Ivan Donaldson
Good primary fruit. Currant, cassis like characters. Has a slight hole in the mid palate. A lot of acid in the finish.
Neil Hadley
Dense, perfumed, attractive cedary nose. Very appealing smell. Firm, tannic structure in the mouth with underlying fruit that marries nicely into the overall finish. It may be a little too tannic for its own good. It becomes dryer on the palate with the food, which suggests that it has some volatility issues.

Some leaf tobacco and mint characters. Fairly sappy, tart, high acid style of wine with a degree of length. In fact, it was a very, very good match. The acidity supported and outlined the dish well and seemed to cleanse it away in the finish. Could see the various parts/components of the dish better with this wine.
Kym Milne
Inky colour. Complex, iodine, dried herb aromas with some sweet fruit. Vibrant Cabernet flavours. Good texture. Herbal Cabernet. A little bit acidic and a slightly green edge on the tannins. Better with the food, but the slightly tart acid spoilt it a little. Good tannins and good, long flavours.
