Judges' Comments

Kym Milne
Pink w copper hue. Touch lanolin and strawberry notes. Nice texture, tight acidity and firm finish with slightly hessian/lanolin character on aftertaste also.

Stuart Halliday
Lovely copper hue in the glass. Savoury red fruit, dry, but elegant. Well suited to a match with food that has some richness like butter or cream, the acid cuts through nicely

Oliver Masters
Light salmon pink, medium light bodied, fresh strawberry fruit, touch short and heavy on palate

Natasha Hughes
Rosé with bruised red apple notes. Creamy mousse. Acidity is slightly hard and the finish is brief. Works best with food.

Corey Ryan
Salmon brassy coloured, with lifted perfumed sweet primary fruits, strawberry and savoury aromatics. The palate is fresh with a focused acidity, very textural and full, lacks a bit or precision.

Matthew Deller
Broad yet restrained Brut Rose style. Foamy mouse, slightly broad bead. Gentle apricot, red fruit, mushroom, earthy, very moderate autolysis. Quite fleshy and floury, with bright acidity. Medium length, slightly bitter finish. Food brings out herbaceous elements in the wine and makes it appear hot.
