Judges' Comments

Warren Gibson
Complex. Fruit driven. Savoury. Very youthful and needing time to come together. Similar with dish

Meg Brodtmann
Pure strawberry and raspberry topping on the nose lovely and inviting. Pure red berry fruit with some residual sugar. A balanced, inviting, fruit driven style. Well matched by quiche a little overwhelming for this wine.

Dr Ken Dobler
Pale copper pink colour. Restrained nose of red berry and dried herb. Plate is very attractive with some blackcurrant flavours and a pleasing savoury edge.

Brent Marris
Delicate fruit nose. Firm acid palate. Slight alcohol on palate. Crisp dry finish. The quiche works well with this wine as the acid balance makes the wine more structured.

Ying Tan
Very pale pink. Slightly savoury toasty, biscuit cherry and strawberry nose. Light, dry, spicy strawberry, cherry on palate. Balanced, direct, quite straightforward. Leek Quiche plays up dryness.

Sue Bastian
Attractive bright pale ruby glas.s Mod to hi intensity red fruits and spice with slightly sweaty cabernet like notes. Firm acid, red apple good fruit weight and length. Food makes wine a little bitter but then the red apple pops up at the end with food.
