Judges' Comments

Kym Milne
Fresh, ripe Pinot with some subtle sweet oak. Cherry fruit, some peppery spice and a slightly tart acid edge.

Stuart Halliday
A more savoury style, a hint medicinal on the palate. The wine does seem a little over ripe and lacking in a little acid structure

Oliver Masters
Youthful medium light red, violets and plum fruit aroma. Gentle delicate palate with impression of fruit sweetness, soft gentle texture with lingering sappy spice tannins on finish, didnít change in impression with duck food match.

Natasha Hughes
Red berry fruits and oak spice. Ripe fruit sweetness and a bit of alcoholic warmth on the finish.

Corey Ryan
Brick brown hue, lifted spicy chewy choc, biscuity new oak influence (too much for elegant Pinot). Good acid line, lacks flesh and stuffing. The wine acid line and bright fruits and texture work very well together.

Matthew Deller
Medium/dark appearance. Wild dark fruit, coffee, wild herbs, rhubarb. Fleshy, yet restrained with crisp acidity and impressively silken tannins. Good length. Food accentuates the subtle complexities, the acidity and youthful tannins of this wine.
