Judges' Comments

Warren Gibson
Fresh and yeasty. Slightly floral nose. Lifted and pure with excellent freshness and length. The dish accentuates the phenolics.

Meg Brodtmann
Aromatic nose of lime juice, jasmine and white blossom. The palate is slightly dilute but the delicate floral aromas give the wine appeal. Well matched with the celeriac but not improved.

Dr Ken Dobler
Light straw yellow. Intense tropical fruit aromas on the nose. Generously weighted palate which is fruit driven and very fresh.

Brent Marris
Lovely floral stone fruit aromas with hints of nectarine flesh coming through on the palate. Lovely balanced acid with rose petal fruit penetration. Hints of floral notes on the finish. The Celeriac dish highlights the floral nose and palate of this wine.

Ying Tan
Fresh floral, light apple and melon flavours. Light, dry, apple and flowers on palate. Straightforward balanced. Celeriac points up apple floral flavours bringing out some nuttiness.

Sue Bastian
Pale straw, bright. Intense florals. Firm, crisp apple acid. Medium, length, slight oiliness. Acid slightly high for this dish.
