Judges' Comments

Warren Gibson
A youthful, full blown style. Attractive with some grapefruit notes apparent. Full blown. Some creamy malolactic complexity. Nice acidity helping with the fish dish

Meg Brodtmann
Classic cooler climate Chardonnay with lemony restraint and a wet stone minerality. The palate has tight acid and is very linear and refined. Delightful pairing with a great balance between them.

Dr Ken Dobler
Straw yellow colour. Yeasty notes with some lovely apricot aromas. Elegant primary fruit on the palate with pineapple and apricot flavours has a lovely length of flavour.

Brent Marris
Rich ripe creamy nose. Hints of oakyness and tropical fruit on the palate. Slight burnt match characters coming through. Slight drying finish. Wine ios better with the fish dish. More in balance with a nice acid backbone and fresh finish.

Ying Tan
Oaky creamy nose. Med-bodied, slightly dilute, oak dominated. Light dry oaky finish. Snapper is neutral with the wine
