Warren Gibson
Lifted and complex. Attractive. Some greener notes underneath. Quite piquant acidity with good length. Palate is a bit disjointed and angular.

Meg Brodtmann
Vanilla, milk chocolate, chocolate coated strawberries – the nose is complex and inviting. The palate doesn’t disappoint with rich berry fruit supported by chocolate and vanilla oak. The tannins are chalky and fine. Really lovely with the duck.

Dr Ken Dobler
Medium crimson red colour. Attractive savoury nose with aromas of dried herb and meat extract. Palate shows more primary fruit with nice complexity and length of flavour. This more savoury style works really well with food.

Brent Marris
Hints of spice and berry fruit on the nose with a lovely smoky oak character on the palate. Great fruit drive on the mid palate with a lovely balanced ripe tannin finish. A lovely match with the duck dish as the wine appears sweeter and more balanced. Great fruit drive and oak/leather notes on finish

Ying Tan
Light ruby. Spicy dark, lightly leathery, floral, dark red fruit, touch of smokiness. Med-bodied, dry, spicy, lightly tannic, finely grained, dark fruit. Dry, dark fruit and spice on finish. Long. Duck Risotto brings out plush finely textured character of the wine, complementing duck and beetroot risotto at the same time. A good wine in its own right, nicely matching food.

Sue Bastian
Mid ruby/cherry. Lifted stewed strawberries, and delicate vanilla/nutty oak on the nose. Fresh firm acid on the palate balanced with bright red fruits. Not overly complicated but fresh and attractive with balanced tannin. Delicious with the duck!
