Tony Allen
Very spicy and
perfumed. Great flavour spectrum and aromatic spice. It has some grip
and complexity. Excellent marriage between the food and the wine.

Lovely bright
red with a tight bouquet and a hint of classy oak. Very tight and a
lovely mouth feel.
Mark Robertson
A powerful nose
and interesting. Cherry, fish oil, rosemary. The sweet palate was
grippy, pine stalk. I thought it was very good. It was a spice driven
wine. I was interested to see if this would work with food and it
did.

A dense colour.
Big full flavours but some off, renal characters and a dry finish.
Green and herbal with some real rustic characters on the finish.

Fragrant.
Complex. Some barnyard characters. Quite textured. It seemed slightly
forward. Finishes a little bit hard and tart. Better with the food
but still looks a touch sharp.
Warren Gibson
A fresh, vibrant
style. Some complexity. Relatively simple though. It lacks power and
length on the palate. So pure and simple. The simple ripe fruit works
moderately well with the duck but generally there is a lack of power
with the match.

lemony notes. Soft acidity. Silky palate.
