JUDGING - IN A FOOD/WINE CONTEXT
"I
have said it before and I'll say it again
That
wine should be judged at the table.
And
not by its price and not by its age.
And
not by the words on its label."
That's
one of those 18th Century proverbs, a simple and concise saying,
popularly repeated, that expresses a truth based on common sense,
attributed to that well known blogger of the time, "Anon".
It pretty much sums up our approach to judging wine - based on widely
held everyday common sense - in a food/wine context. That's
where wine has always belonged.

ENTRIES
NOW OPEN - 2014 SYDNEY INTERNATIONAL WINE COMPETITION
Entries
are now being accepted from all
countries for the 33rd Sydney International
Wine Competition.
Entries
close as soon as the 2,000 Entries cap is reached or 13 September,
2013, which ever occurs first.
The
Competition will be
judged 14-18 October and entrants will be advised of their provisional
results
on or before 4 November 2013.
