SOME REQUIREMENTS & HINTS FOR YOUR “MY CELLAR DOOR” PHOTOGRAPHY

This is a Free of Charge opportunity to show your “My Cellar Door” photo to a wide, wine interested audience around the world. No charge but we do have some technical requirements for the photograph you submit. You may wish to refer these requirements to your local Camera Shop or Art Studio for interpretation.

Requirements:
[1] JPEG (.jpg) images only.

[2] Minimum dimensions of the photograph: (Even a 1.2 megapixel camera can produce photography of the required quality.)

(Photographs may be resized down and possibly cropped if necessary to fit the above dimensions.)

[3] We can accommodate both portrait and landscape photographs but landscapes are preferred.

Hints:
* When taking the photograph do not use digital zoom - this will result in a grainy image
* Do not increase the size of the image using a photographic editor - this will result in a grainy image
* If taking a landscape orientation picture with a digital camera use the landscape mode if available. This will help get a better general focus i.e. not on one small point.
* Use a tripod if possible - it will avoid the wobbles.
