SECURITY AND PRIVACY POLICY
This site is owned and operated by Sydney International Wine Competition (the Competition). The privacy of visitors to our site is of primary importance to us. We receive certain information from and about our visitors. Here are our undertakings regarding the security and privacy of that information.
THREE TYPES OF INFORMATION The Competition receives three types of information about our visitors:
- Creditcard information may be submitted voluntarily for on-line purchases or offers to purchase.
- Visitors may, at their own option, provide contact details to receive our electronic newsletters, to participate in our message boards or forums or for voluntary participation in polls and surveys:
- Geographical and other aggregated statistical information is received from our ISP. No individual visitor’s identity is divulged. No individual or personal information is involved.
SECURITY
Sydney International Wine Competition operates secure data networks protected by industry standard firewall and password protection systems. Creditcard details are transmitted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encrypted protocol. The SSL padlock icon is displayed bottom right corner of the appropriate pages, verifying you are operating in a secure environment.
PRIVACY AGREEMENT & OPT-OUT POLICY
Sydney International Wine Competition guarantees not to share any visitor’s personal information with a third party, including advertisers or sponsors. Under no circumstances will the Competition divulge any information about an individual visitor to a third party. An Unsubscribe option is offered with all Competition e-newsletters.
