Warren Gibson
Beautiful lifted and fresh Cabernet cassis aromatics. Dense. Rich and concentrated wine. Savoury and long with the dish.

Meg Brodtmann
Pure cassis on the nose blackcurrant pastilles! The palate is a little more development with cedar, blackcurrant and a hint of tobacco. Firm tannins sit around the slightly hollow mid palate. The palate seems fuller with the steak but the finish is quite drying.

Dr Ken Dobler
Amazing deep crimson colour. Attractive cassis and leaf aromas on the nose. Excellent fruit weight on the palate with those restrained leafy notes without a hint of green tannin.

Brent Marris
Green caney notes on the nose following through to the palate. Lovely ripe firm fruit tannins with a lovely lift of berry fruit on the mid palate. Great structure and fruit sweetness to finish. A great match as the wine stays alive with the steak and long on the palate.

Ying Tan
Deep dark red. Spicy, pencil shavings blackcurrant, nose. Med-full, dry, evident acidity, dry tannins, soft juicy core of blackcurrant fruit with some creamy lightly toasty supporting oak. Fairly straightforward. Medium long finish. Sirloin brings out sweetness of fruit and balance.

Sue Bastian
Magenta. Intense, complex nose with herbs, spice, dried flowers and dark fruits. Lovely rich palate with great balance of fruit, tannin and oak. Sustained length of flavour. A cracking Cabernet goes well with beat, meat and horseradish.
