Judges' Comments

Warren Gibson
Hay-like aromas. Relatively neutral. Nice balanced acidity and palate drive. More grippy with the dish.

Meg Brodtmann
Very delicate chalky and oyster shell aromas. The palate has a lovely minerality with fresh lime juice. Quite linear in structure. The celeriac actually overpowered the delicate fruit of this wine.

Dr Ken Dobler
Lovely bright straw green colour. Attractive savoury herbal and vegetal aromas on the nose. Palate shows lovely fitness and length with delicate herbal flavours and a lingering finish. Really would do well with very delicately flavoured savoury food.

Brent Marris
Clean slightly nutty notes on the nose following through to the palate. Lovely bright acidity with hints of apricot and straw notes on the finish. Well balanced. A great match with the Celeriac dish as the nutty notes and acidity are complimented.

Ying Tan
Oily floral slightly lemony nose. Light, dry, zesty, simple direct. Dry finish. Celeriac brings out a creaminess in the wine.

Sue Bastian
Pale straw, bright with green flashes. Delicate herbal notes, and underlying citrus. Fresh zesty acid, with lovely length. Acid increases salt on this dish.
