Judges' Comments

Warren Gibson
Unusual colour. Slightly confected. Dull and slightly sweet

Meg Brodtmann
Pomegranate and sour plum aromas with a hint of the herb garden. Quite simple and confected on the palate with the residual sugar seeming a little high. A good match with the food with the sweetness supporting the sweetness of the leeks.

Dr Ken Dobler
Attractive pale watermelon pink colour. Aromas of strawberry and red plum on the nose. Delicious well made wine, the palate is long with a great balance of fruit drive and savoury finish.

Brent Marris
Delicate nose, soft fruit on mid palate, crisp fruit freshness on the finish. Red fruits on finish. A well-matched wine with the quiche. Softness and fruit all round.

Ying Tan
Light pink. Lightly cherry, roses, fresh nose. Med-full bodied, dry, spicy, cherry, strawberry, juicy simple fruit. Dry finish. Long. Leek Quiche brings out dryness.

Sue Bastian
Pretty in cherry pink. Mod intense fruity perfume. Good intensity of fruit on palate, nice acid, medium to long flavours linger.
