Judges' Comments

Warren Gibson
Fruity, slightly reduced. Attractive.? Palate appears sweet and out of balance. No balance with the dish

Meg Brodtmann
Balsamic macerated strawberries with Redskins and dried cherry aromas quite a delicate but appealing nose. Rounded with some residual but balanced. The slightly hot finish detracts from the wine. The wine seems sweeter with the food.

Dr Ken Dobler
Very light lipstick pink. Effusive nose with confection and strawberry jam aromas. Attractive musk and rose petal flavours - the palate is long and attractive.

Brent Marris
Big rose petal nose following through to the palate. Sweet and ripe. Round and fruit driven on the finish of the palate. Quite sweet on the finish. The quiche works well but the sweetness is quite apparent.

Ying Tan
Bright pink. Ripe red fruit, slightly bready, toasty edge. Med-full, ripe, oof-dry, ripe red fruit, balanced, juicy. Dry ripe red fruit finish. Long.

Sue Bastian
Pale cherry red. Dried herbs and flowers, more savoury slightly reductive notes. Sweet red fruits, medium body sweetness just perceptible. Reasonable length. Is slightly dominated by leek quiche.
