Judges' Comments

Warren Gibson
Light colour. Fresh vibrant fruit. Attractive. The palate has good weight and balance. Fresh and vibrant. Quite dry with the leek quiche.

Meg Brodtmann
A lovely light pink colour with aromas of macerated strawberries and red licorice. Fresh red fruits with balanced acid and warm finish. Lovely match with the quiche but no improvement.

Dr Ken Dobler
Very pale pink colour. Lifted nose of strawberry and some savoury herbal notes. Lovely savoury palate with good length and density of favour. The savouriness of the wine is an excellent match with food.

Brent Marris
Lovely floral nose through to palate. Good acidity, bright and fresh, pure and long on the palate. Works really well with the quiche as the wine holds its own with both the fruit and the acid.

Ying Tan
Very pale light pink. Light strawberry nose. Med-bodied, dry, simple lean, slightly astringent. Dry very lean finish. Leek Quiche brings out fruit.

Sue Bastian
Pale pink, bright, delicate, rose petal, and slight savoury Med body, mod acid, reasonable balance, Moderate length.
