Judges' Comments

Kym Milne
Lemony, bright Riesling aromatics. Touch of honey. Sweet but with very bright citrusy acidity. Long and candied lemon characters. Sweet but not cloying with nice acid balance.

Warren Gibson
Lifted, fresh and aromatic. Well balanced. Fresh and pure. Looking youthful. Long and lingering. Excellent match with the dessert

Meg Brodtmann
Honey and marmalade aromas with hints of chamomile and straw. Rich with botrytis flavours of marmalade, honey, apricot nectar. Balanced acid and sugar. Lovely wine. Quite a good match with the wine but makes it appear a little simple.

Dr Ken Dobler
Attractive light straw yellow. Wonderful estery floral aromas. Delicate floral flavours with lovely balance of flavour and palate length. This slightly more delicate style did not overpower food.

Brent Marris
Lovely rich honeyed characters. Nice lime notes on the finish. Hints of floral with lovely balanced sweetness. A great match with the apple tart as the balances off nicely.

Ying Tan
Light bright yellow. Sweet, floral, grapey nose. Full, sweet, fresh high acid, grapey, balanced. Sweet grapey finish. Long, if quite straightforward. Apple Tart Tatin dried out the wine.
