Judges' Comments

Kym Milne
Light, fresh, appley aromas. Hint of nougat. Light, fresh palate, oyster shell character and bright refreshing acid.

Stuart Halliday
Brioche and toasted nuts on the nose. Drive on the palate, yet full of finesse, structured yet elegant.

Oliver Masters
Pale yellow gold, tight mealy palate, good citrus mineral acidity, nice full broad texture and mousse carries through palate, the freshness was a very good match with food

Natasha Hughes
A complex nose and palate, with primary stone fruit and some evidence of developed nutty, honeyed flavours. Nicely balanced, with a fine mousse and a long finish.

Corey Ryan
A slight amber hue, lifted chewy textural wine leesy, earthy aromatics, a touch volatile. A complex long palate full flavoured, lacks a little precision and focus. Interesting full flavoured sparkling. Some RS fullness. Refined simple fruits, a touch too sweet for the pasta dish. Though a delicious refreshing wine on its own.

Matthew Deller
Approachable, restrained, sweeter end of Brut style. Subdued, chalky, green apple, citrus, white flower. Medium density, good linear acidity. Slightly grippy texture. Medium length. Food makes the wine appear even sweeter.
